Marketing With Video Part I
Using streaming videos on the Internet for marketing purposes is a fairly new phenomenon.
To completely interpret why streaming videos are the next step in on-line Internet marketing, we need to understand the goals of online advertisers and the effects of their very diverse methods of advertising.
The majority of marketing pamphlets and newsletters are using text and pictures in combination to draw a consumer’s attention. Various pictures are a combination of still and animated objects. They are video, but in its simplest form- a way to increase the probability of attracting a prospective client.
But, if there is anything advertisers and consumers have learned about marketing, tv ads are still the best way to draw attention for a product and retain it in the client’s memory.
Looking back, on line advertising began primarily with newsletters in the form of emails or pop-up screens containing solid text and assorted still pictures. As Internet users became more and more accustomed to surfing the WWW, these newsletters and pop-up ads slowly turned into annoyances. It was very soon after annoying that they turned into pure crap.
